Good Questions: Winged Headboard Bed?

9-26-winged headboard.jpgAT, Does anyone have resources on a winged headboard bed? Sort of like the one here? I'd like to find a leather bed, with wing curved headboard, but with a little femininity to it. Does anyone own one, or know of a good resource? Thank you.

Daisy,

There's the Westport Bed from Williams-Sonoma Home.

Anyone else?

For a more modern look (probably not what the original poster wants, but if anyone else is interested), there's the Blu Dot Nook bed.

Sorry the Overstock Leann bed is ultra suede not leather. They do have leather beds without wings.

Sarah Richardson has designed a wing-chair-bed-frame. I'm not sure where you can find it.

ikea, west elm, crate and barrel, pottery barn, william sonoma, blu dot (via hivemodern), Jayson home & garden, de la spada (via hivemodern), ruf-betten, mitchell gold, ironies (among others. . . .in ascending order of relative price, quality and design snobbery.)

I just bought the one pictured here (stanley Louie Louie) about 3 weeks ago and we absolutley love it. It is very well made and the color is very nice. It sits very high with the mattress so mught not be good for someone that is short (I am 6'5" and my wife is 5'0"..lol.) She has to climb into it but still loves it. We bought it through Cymax stores. They delivered quick (free delivery and set up).

Stanley funiture has 2 or 3 more upholstered beds that are nice.

Good luck.

If you saw it on Divine Design, it may have been this bed:

I was looking for this kind of bed forever in wood. I ended up with this bed from a company called Zocalo. It's not leather, but wood, but it was only $700.

you can also take the picture of the headboard to an upholsterer and get them to custom make it for you
