ICFF 2008: MADE Studio Wooden Tiles

Portland-based MADE Studio makes beautiful wooden furniture. At this year's ICFF they showed their new line of wooden tiles along with several applications for them, our favorite being their tile beds. The photos really don't do these pieces justice, in person the wood practically glows; these beds are definitely future heirlooms.

We especially like that the beds have finished backs, as they're certainly strong enough pieces to hold down a whole room. Since every piece is made to order, MADE is "flexible on size, materials, and customization." You can see their entire collection of hand crafted furniture on their website.
