apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Inspiration: Bed Platform

8-5-bed platform.jpgWe love the look of this bed platform. It'd be a great solution for a small space -- by raising the bed area, it feels like a separate room. It also appears that there are drawers underneath the platform, and who doesn't need more storage?

We blogged a more elaborate version here.

I really like this, but it's probably not for me... I'd be sure to bang my shins on when it's dark!

Ha! It's like making a mini-shrine to yourself! Or to your gettin'-it-on activities.

I used to have this kind of bedframe for some years. I was full of bruises after a while, and hated it so much that I gave it away for free a few weeks ago.

The bedspread looks like a waffle-weave blanket to me. Shouldn't be too hard to find.
