Kiel Futon

2006_07_11_kiel.jpgWe vividly remember the day we traded our futon for a real bed. It felt like we'd finally grown up.

Years later we find ourselves revisiting the assumption that futons are the exclusive hallmark of youth. Futons are practical. Vaguely bohemian. And if they are well-made, they're comfy. Some are super-expensive. The Kiel futon is not ($349), and it's much more attractive than your average wood-framed sofa/spare bed.

This may finally be your ticket to host-dom. (OK, a dubious proposition.) $349 from Seattle's Dania.

Just checked out Kiel's website. If you don't have a store in your state you are not able to purchase. To bad I really like the futon shown.
