Nice! I'd be thrilled if my closet looked as nice as the "before", to be honest.

Looks great! Nice use of space...I wish my closet was this tall so I could double hang like that.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your help on the "BEFORE" original post, and for kind words.

It is such a relief to look at this closet now. It's so great, it really calms me as before when I don't even want to look at it.

AMT230--it was really hard to fight the urge to paint it, as i had already in mind the color i wanted for the closet (Normandie-Benjamin Moore).

SPARKLE--I love those shoes, too. I specifically noted in the orginal "BEFORE" post that I had them in boxes and I wanted them out where I can see them..it really helps to put what i'm going to wear next to the shoe shelf...to pick from (like that pink dress there, I always wore it with black platforms...but seeing it there now, I think I'll wear it with the silver open-toe or white pumps).

DANZE-- the shoe structure is just 6 Ikea Fabian shelves http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/46693309 for $6.99 each. I had 3 from a wall that I took off, so I went and bought 2 more and just screw them right into the side wall of the closet. Though if I didn't already have 3 of those Fabian shelves already, I would have just save more money by buying some boards and metal brackets at Home Depot, cut then into the width of my closet and fit them right in using the brackets. And in the future, when my shoe quantities grow...I can add up to 4 more shelves on top (of the boots you see there)...or 10 shelves to the left side of the closet. Those shelves worked out just great as they are only 9.5" deep, so they didn't take up too much of the closet width...but they really let me utilize the height of the closet !!!

THANKS AGAIN !
