10-16-08 afa desk.jpgIt seems that a lot of the winning designs continued in the "Hollywood Regency" style (such as the mirrored chandelier at top with antique gold finish), But there are also a number of pieces geared at compact functionality, such as the desk shown above.

Wow, I can't believe that all of that hideous garbage that looks like it came straight out of a tacky 1960s split-level house won awards. How sad.
