AIA Home of the Month: Rambler Redo
Northwest Home: May 2008

The new issue of Northwest Home (which, since last month, is now a pull-out in Seattle Magazine) features AIA's Home of the Month pick. The rambler in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood comes in at just under 2,000 square feet, and it's serene, modern and beautiful.

The Home of the Month program isn't just a print spread in Northwest Home — it also includes an open house, free to the public.

Wow! That kitchen is gorgeous - I think I recognize the ikea cabs. Damn - maybe I should have gone for this cabinet door, rather than the slab front nexus birch.

Why not remove the doors & drawer fronts, run painter's tape over the edges and paint/stain the centers of the panels to get this appearance?
