apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Australia in Sonoma
The New York Times: 07.03.08

Just how did Dodwell become inspired by the Australian outback? While riding her motorcycle -- solo -- between Melbourne and Perth.

The five-building compound took five years to design and build. It includes Australian art and craft, recycled materials, a wraparound veranda, and a small tower that's an art studio and massage room.
