Blogging 7 x 7: The Very Best of San Francisco issue

2007_05_03_7x7_logo.jpgThis month's 7 x 7 is a veritable list-makers' paradise, and in the home design category Editor Leilani Labong has pulled together a list of some longtime AT:SF faves as well as some great new local finds we're now primed to check out.

The familiars include maverick (and homegrown) online furniture retailer Design Public, SF furniture collective Council, Jackson Square design afficianado Rachel Eden, the fabulous Fleur*t boutique, Oakland designer David Brunicardi's Smoke and Mirrors, local ceramicist Alex Marshall, and (Modern) bamboo impresario Anthony Marschak.

2007_06_08_Treille.jpgAlso: Rick Lee's suspension rack, Mike and Maiaike Evers" Juxtaposed bookshelf, Peace Industry's artful felt rugs, Clark Sorensen's quirky flower urinals, Offi's Ovum bassinet, and Thomas Wold's hilarious new offering, the Mushroom Forest.

The local listers we can't believe we missed? Justin Godar's Cross Dresser, The Green Home Center on Polk Street, Boyd Lighting's Catacos series, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec's clever indoor trellis, Teracrea-Treille, at Atys (and pictured), and The Magazine's Starline Pyramid bio-fireplace.

7x7's full write-ups for the "Best of" list are right here. They've added some web exclusives, too, to be blogged in a part II...
