I've never understood the need for those pegs. Couldn't you just keep the pots and pans in the drawer the same way every time without those pegs? What am I missing here?

The pegs are great if you want to stack dinner plates in a drawer.

We keep our pots and pans in the drawer beneath the oven, and they stay orderly without pegs, despite the force needed to get the drawer to close straight.

I LOVE those cabinets. So many Ikea items can look cheap. A decorator friend of mine recommends many Ikea kitchen items including their stainless steel kitchens.
