Roy began transforming their apartment with a mural on the bathroom ceiling, based on aplona, an Indian technique of making patterns on the floor with pastes and flours passed from mother to daughter. She continued by adding bold color in the kitchen and bedroom textiles.

With the move came a career change for Roy, formerly a computer programmer, with the founding Om Home, her modern Indian textile company.

Our favorite part of Roy's home is her unique bedroom storage solution: she sandwiched a vintage teak dresser between two Ikea armoires to make a built-in, custom look.

This apartment was shown on AT a while ago - I think they might have entered a contest (the fall colour contest?)...

This was a great one to see in the magazine. Her use of color and shape adds up to a great, sophisticated and casual space.

OK, I'm from Winnipeg. The REAL question here is...
what could possibly entice you to travel to Winnipeg?!?
My only guess could be family, there's no other logical reason to go there...
