One of the things we love about Apartment Therapy contests (like Smallest Coolest) is the glimpse they provide into the lives and homes of fellow readers. And we admit, weve been known to spend a Sunday or two bouncing from one open house to another even though we weren't looking to buy.
Recently, HGTV took this curiosity that many of us share and turned it into a feature on their web site. At "Rate My Space," homeowners upload photos for others to view and critique. Usually, theres a little blurb about the space and comments as well.

No, that's me.
Hey, if people are gonna leave their blinds open...

If people didn't want they homes looked at, they'd shut the blinds. I do.

Thanks for posting the link!
Actually if you go farther than just the one page there are some great examples of modern design. This bathroom remodel isn't my taste but considering that they did it themselves, it's inspiring. It's at least as nice as anything posted on AT during "bathroom month".

That Barcelona chair is soooo wrong.

Loved the NYC apartment decor. The colors are great and love the animal print thrown in to spice it up some. The candles add a lot of warmth and charm to the space. I wasn't real crazy about the chair and ottoman, but liked the sofa. Personally the French Shabby Chic just wasn't my style. It is a little gaudy and cold feeling to me.
