If this is what you call Neo-Northwest contemporary, we can certainly get with it. Here are the apparent elements: simple, clean lines, Asian influence and a blending of indoors and out. Yes to all of the above.
Blogging Seattle Homes & Lifestyles: The Definition of Neo-Northwest Contemporary
Michael and Shera Myers purchased the house in 2005. It was built in 1959 and designed by Ralph Anderson, an architect who helped define the modern Northwest style. The house had been "updated" since then with faux drapery and ornate wallpaper, and the Myers' focused their remodel on bringing the house back to its modern trailblazer roots.
The look is carried through with undraped windows and custom cabinets by Henrybuilt.

It's great to see a house that fits so well into the Northwest environment. So much modernist architecture is designed for the midwest -- it often looks out of place elsewhere.
