This article is chock full of interesting factoids that provide a snapshot of what living in a houseboat is really like.

Teagen Densmore's home, the focus of this article, is approximately 500 square feet. Interestingly, she uses her car trunk for additional storage to combat the space issue. After that, it gets even more interesting: Teagen's parents first met while living on neighboring houseboats, and her sister now has one too.

Speeding boaters or storms can rock her house until the refrigerator door pops open and outdoor plants fall off of the deck. Likewise if too many friends gather on one end of the rooftop, which is good for sunning. Friends also come by to swim off her deck, in the �water alley,� though trash is sometimes visible at the bottom of the lake.

This is really cute! I didn't know houseboats could look like this.

You have to really have a good use of space to live on one of these though.
