For those of you starting The Spring Cure, maybe this will make you feel better: Sebastopol homeowner Nancy Fiddler is really cleaning out stuff. What's she getting rid of? Something that's been in the family for 11 years, and takes up half the garage....

A mastodon. Yes, you read that right. A 3-million year old prehistoric elephant-like animal (not the heavy metal band -- isn't Wikipedia fascinating?).

That was a funny article. I read the comments, and apparently, she tried to give it to a museum or something and no one wanted it permanently.
