Marcia Cross’ Desperate Housewives Set Trailer

The E! Network is our guilty pleasure. Normally we wouldn't admit to it, but we’re glad we were watching yesterday to learn about this spread in Traditional Home profiling Marcia Cross’ Desperate Housewives set trailer.

Why did it never occur to us that these trailers would look like anything but, well, a trailer? Laminate countertops and MDF panel cabinets couldn’t be further from what Cross retreats to between takes.

LA-based interior designer David Brian Sanders has hooked her up with a glam-y turquoise and brown affair with mirrored, white and glass accents. Given the function (a place to take off high heels and turn off after being on, at least) and cozy dimensions, we’d go for something Moroccan-themed, full of pillows and options for reclining, and side tables for coffee or tea service.

The issue hits stands September 30.

Woah! How big is the trailer?

With all the breakables, I assume her twins stay at home with a nanny when she is at work. Janine Turner got a fifth wheel that she turned into a haven for her child and nanny. Then she joined them in her off time.

Either that or more gates than furniture will be necessary...

Darn it! I had already decided on half of that stuff for my room! Now it looks like I'm copying her!

Her "between takes trailer" is 12 x 30 ft. Thats 67 sq. ft. bigger than my apartment. :(

I heard she spent around $130K on her trailer! That's just insane. It's sort of upsetting to hear that people can throw down that kind of money on something like a trailer.

Yes, it's a lot of money for a trailer in your life or mine but if you spend 12 hours a day, 5 days a week in this trailer it makes sense.

I like the colour combination, but I know what you're saying...in 6 months, she's going to be so sick of it. It's all just too MUCH! It's going to become the olive green and burnt orange of colour schemes.

I don't find it insane at all... I mean, come on, maybe she spends more time in that trailer than in her own house. I love how it is decorated though, I would have never said that's a trailer.
