Most days, container gardening on a typical tiny apartment patio seems challenging. It can feel like if we don't have a sprawling suburban yard, we're just not meant to garden. But rooftop gardens like this turn that notion on its head posthaste.
The garden on top of the five-floor Rocket building at East Burnside and 11th Avenue is Portland's only edible rooftop garden, and one of only a handful in the U.S.
