There were most of our Mission favorites, including X21 Modern and Monument, which we were happy about. But neighborhoods less known for great shopping (Bernal, Glen Park, even Hayes Valley) were missing from the list, so great gems - like our beloved Perch - didn't get a nod. We did find some great incentive to actually venture outside of our regular haunts and check out all that Pac Heights and North Beach have to offer, design-wise, which was a kick in the pants of which we're in need.

I was a little surprised they left out Hayes Valley. And I don't think Perch was open yet when Rita came to town. Otherwise, I'd like to think it would've made the list!
