San Francisco City Guide
Domino: April 2008

4-17-08 dominosf.jpgThe latest issue of Domino had us extra-intrigued due to its San Francisco shopping guide. We love to hear where other people's top destinations are in the city, and we were curious how many (if any) of our favorites made their cut.

We also loved that it was written by Rita Konig, whose blog is one of our favorite parts of the Domino website.

There were most of our Mission favorites, including X21 Modern and Monument, which we were happy about. But neighborhoods less known for great shopping (Bernal, Glen Park, even Hayes Valley) were missing from the list, so great gems - like our beloved Perch - didn't get a nod. We did find some great incentive to actually venture outside of our regular haunts and check out all that Pac Heights and North Beach have to offer, design-wise, which was a kick in the pants of which we're in need.

Check out the article and let us know what you think.

Thanks for the link! Now I have a reason to go to the northern areas of the city!

I was a little surprised they left out Hayes Valley. And I don't think Perch was open yet when Rita came to town. Otherwise, I'd like to think it would've made the list!

I will print, hit the town, and report back ;) Thanks for all the tasty leads! I'm sure I'll return starry-eyed.
