The Oregonian: 3.13.08

The story behind the title of this article from the Oregonian last week is the matching playhouse on the grounds of the colonial-style home, built in 1932 and remodeled by Jennifer and Justin Leonard in the last four years. But the real draw for us is the beautiful sunroom. Ah, sun.

The house is in the Mout Tabor neighborhood of Portalnd, and is enormous – 3,500 square feet, with four full baths and five bedrooms.

My entire apartment is the size of that sunroom. Now I'm sad.

I'm sorry but that sun room is hideous - a sunroom should not be yellow - it's redundant - and look at those nappy plants!

I have a yellow sunroom and I love it. It's bright & sunny even when it's grey outside! When it's sunny, the yellow is washed out, so it's not so yellow. It's perfect!

It's not my taste, but looks like a lovely and comfortable place to spend some time.

well if you want a huge house, better to remodel an old one that built a new one

I used to live right around the corner from that house 4 years ago -- it really was down on its luck then. THey sure did an amazing job with the exterior. The interior is a little traditional for my taste.
