Using Cabinet Fronts As Wall Art
The Oregonian

090809-cabinetdoors.jpg When frequenting salvage stores, one of the ever present items is cabinet doors. They always sit in a pile, off in a corner, just wishing they could have a home like yours. Need some inspiration? Click through the jump...

Cabinet doors are blank canvases that come with frames built in. They can be used in the styles above, or they can be the basis for other things like vinyl decals, stencils, paper panels, and decoupaged fabric. Usually these doors aren't priced for more than a few dollars and are a great inexpensive alternative to displaying artwork.

Check out The Oregonian for closeups on these three design ideas.

I believe that what we have here is the imfamous dangling participle.

That said, the idea of using cabinet doors as frames is clever, though the 'artwork' shown here doesn't do a thing for me.
