While browsing through Builders Booksource last weekend, we found Convertible Houses. The new book by Amanda Lam and Amy Thomas is full of good ideas for ATers (and, not surprisingly, AT is mentioned as a resource for more ideas and inspiration).
What the homes featured all have in common is not square footage. It's that they share ingenious ways of convertible living. Swiveling walls, cantilevered lofts, platforms, curtain walls... And many of the ideas can be used in small spaces and in rentals.
