Brand New Design from FLOR: Find a Face

findaface070609.jpgJust introduced from FLOR, a series of carpet tiles based on the photography of Francois Robert. The Find a Face tiles feature classic "hidden" face imagery, adding a lighthearted tone to whatever room you choose. Perhaps the one where you pay...

...your bills would be a good choice!

The Find a Face "rug" of six carpet tiles is priced at $179. More info is

not crazy about that as a rug, but i love looking at it in a photography book or email forward.

it just wouldn't fit with my vintage/antique decor. but would look awesome in a more modern home!

I really like the images, but I think the novelty would wear off pretty quickly.

I'm waiting for Flor to make a pattern (not just stripes) that is actually cool - not the hokey, childish things they have offered thus far. I like the idea of Flor, but they just haven't gotten my business yet, even though I have places where it would be the perfect solution.

I think this would be great if the colors were more tones down and in a semi-consistent color palette.

Maybe for a kid's room. I'm not into novelty decor.

Never mind the Flor tiles (kinda ugly IMO) I like that reel to reel deck, have one similar, but it's the 2 track version.

Plus, I love the cabinet it sits on too.

I'm sorry, but I really love FLOR. I love this new design, I think it's very fun. I like that they offer the selection of Girard designs in large and small images, and in different colors. I definitely would consider this design for the floor of my ugly rental kitchen. I think $179 is very affordable for what you get. The only FLOR stuff I don't like is designed by Martha Stewart. If you're going with a Martha Stewart look, why go FLOR? It makes no sense.
