SPLAT Dish Rack by Jill Davis Design

dishrack2.png
We've had it all wrong. In the past we've always been tempted by the massive dish drying contraptions in the big box home stores; they feed our pitiful illusion that the more full-service the dish rack, the less of a drag it might be to actually do the dishes.

While this dish rack is basically a step up from setting your dishes on a towel to dry, the fact that it can be collapsed and put away so easily beats a rack that has to be kept in the open, taunting you with the specter of chores undone.

It's not yet available for purchase, but you can see more pics here.

I just bought one of these, and now my dishes actually get done! I'm so happy.

Nice. Always refreshing to see someone taking the side road. Just the thing to have if you dishwasher suddenly goes kaput.

The thing is, I'd never have a reason to put it away. I usually only get around to putting dishes away when I have to wash more dishes.
