Close-Up!: Heather's Demijohns

frazier_kitchen.jpg

While working on Scavenger this week, we came upon some demijohns for sale on Craigslist. They caught our eye but we couldn't quite figure out what to do with them. Today while browsing through our House Calls, we did a double take when we saw Heather Frazier's display of green glass demijohns. They look really striking in a row in her white kitchen.

See Heather Frazier's House Call here.

(The demijohns on Craigslist are here and here, but don't fret if they're gone by the time you read this. We've seen ones listed several times.)

Those make a great display - and I also like the corner open shelves!

Yeah, they look nice here, but I still wonder what you can actually DO with them.

Yes, open shelves, very pretty. Right next to the stove. A grease and dust magnet for anything on them - especially merely decorative demijohns.

I am too lazy to invite more cleaning opportunities into my life, sadly.

I have been looking for demijohns like this for a while. Where are the best places to find them (other than flea markets)?

    Lisa Hunter,

demijohns are great as lamp base, make a lamp easily and very $ cheap!
