I'm thrilled to show off this handcrafted furniture by Portland, OR artisan, Dave Seoane. His work is full of personality while managing to stay true to clean modern design. Utilizing 3 main elements: wood, steel, and color, he creates solid furniture and fixtures that are fun to be around...

The visual impact of Seoane's work is only exceeded by the quality of its construction. Much of the wood he uses is salvaged Oregon black walnut, carefully refinished and to give it a new beauty. This serves to amplify the graphic bursts of color that are then inlaid. You can see videos on his site that go into the detail of his design process. The precision he puts into every step really shows in the final product.

Among his recent endeavors, he just finished working on the build out of Heart Coffee and Roasting, a new coffee shop in NE Portland. Stop by and enjoy a cup while sitting on his custom built bench and take a gander at the beautiful table tops!
