apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Helen Dardik: Pattern Design

We featured some of Helen's art before on Apartment Therapy as part of the Decal's Make For Inexpensive Wall Art post. We didn't realize that she also has some great patterns on her website. They are very colorful, fun, and we love all the variety.

Some of these would be amazing as upholstery fabrics, but we could also see them framed as art. In a kid's room they could be used much more freely, but as a chair cushion or a pillow cover these would be a wonderful addition to a mostly white interior as colorful accents.

Check out Helen Dardik's website for more examples of her pattern designs and illustrations. She also has a blog with her latest news and updates.

I love the Red Riding Hood motif. Thanks for finding these-they're much needed after a crappy day.
