What is seemingly a child's sketch is actually hand bent recycled steel that is fashioned in a way that resembles a child's drawing. Casa Sugar featured this furniture from Lucy Merchant, a furniture designer and artist out of London. Each piece is powder coated in bold, primary colors, likening them even more to a crayon sketch of a dining room. But these are real life chairs, folks! Definitely outside of the box...or the lines?
That is hilarious and amazing ... love it

it is hilarious, but far too much a joke for everyday use. would get on my nerves very quickly. fun for a stage set, though.

I ADORE THIS CONCEPT! This is art that happens to be furniture. I don't know how functional they would be in a home but they are awesome conversation pieces!

Not my type, but have to say it's creative, but they do look as though they would cave in as soon as someone sat on them...

Wow. I like these chairs. They'd be so charming in an outdoor setting. How about miniature versions?

Um, these chairs and their concept are about 6 or 7 years old; I read about them when they first came out. I think it was in Living Etc.

These are the sort of chairs I would accidentally impale myself on. Far too dangerous for klutzes like me.

Sometimes 'unique' is not a good word.

Well, to me comfort comes first no matter what. So if they passed THAT test (and I'm dubious) I think they might have a place. A bit of wit!
