We love a good refinish, repurpose, or reinvention. This nightstand project is a gorgeous example of a finely crafted refinishing that we wish we had the artistic inclination to be able to do!

In the mix is this fantastic refinish of an antique nightstand by woodworker Will Means. Really good, even though I would have left it all black (but that is just me). Wonderful finish and it enhances the beautiful lines of the nightstand. I have some stripped wood pieces and never dared to paint them, because I feared the colour would clash with the original style of the furniture. Encouraging, but I doubt I would ever be able to get the finish that impeccable.
