9-24-08philippa1.jpg9-24-08philippalogo.jpgPhilippa Roberts is our favorite home and gift store on Piedmont Ave. Philippa herself is a jewelry maker by trade, so you can also see her work at her shop. In addition to jewelry from both Philippa and other artists, the store is jam packed with all sorts of interesting and lovely home and gift items from mostly domestic designers and manufacturers.

9-24-08philippa2.jpgWe love (love!) these floor mats (to the left), which are made from recycled flip-flops. And at $21 a pop, you really have no excuse not to pick one up.

9-24-08philippa4.jpgEven though over 90% of the items at Philippa are new, there is definitely a vintage influence.

9-24-08philippa5.jpgWe absolutely fell in love with these Art Noveau inspired tiles, which are made in Ann Arbor, MI. And they are $68 each (and even more stunning in person).

9-24-08philippa3.jpgThese handmade salt and pepper grinders are designed in Portland, OR and start at $68.

I agree this place is cool to look through, but quite a few of their items are priced in the stratosphere. $63 for a coffee mug???
