Halloween Products at Crate and Barrel

9-23-08halloweencrate.jpgIn our humble opinion, it's never too early to start preparing for Halloween, especially in this town (who else is disappointed about the Castro being out of bounds?). And we're always amazed at the amount of utterly terrible and cheesy Halloween themed "home decor" products that come out this time of year.. So, imagine our delight when we stumbled upon these great products from Crate and Barrel.

Here's my fave - a ginormous 8' X 12' haunted house photo mural:

I like to know the definition you have of cheesy where these items aren't cheesy. I'm not knocking Halloween decorating, but they seem cheap and seasonal, appropriate, and still very cheesy. Of the alternatives, I really like that glitter skull. It reminds me of the German glitter Xmas ornaments that my mother has, in its own certain way.

Anyway, my Halloween decorating is already done (and has been up for "a while"). I get this from my parents, the only decoration being a bowl with candy in it. Since I get no trick-or-treaters here, I'm set.
