Inspiration: 24th Street House Wet Bar

9-30-08mikes2.jpgLately we've been checking out affordable real estate in the Bay Area, and we recently came across the most amazing penthouse in Old Oakland. The 24th Street house has all that and more, but what we really loved about it was the wet bar in the dining room.

9-30-08mikes.jpgGranted, it's narrow. But it's not like we'd be doing dishes in it. Also, we could easily throw down a great looking rug if we did find out to be really messy. Regardless, we love the concrete (installed by bay area fav Concrete Works) with the wood, it's beautiful.

I like this house, but I don't like that they've completely ignored its victorian heritage.
