Rebecca Thus: Beautiful Table Settings

03.26.09_RebeccaThuss03.jpgFor ten years Rebecca Thus worked for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. She was a Style Director of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine and received many awards in recognition of her styling work. In 2006, before she left company, she was Editor and Style Director on the premier issue of Blueprint, a similar magazine to our beloved Domino. We used to read Blueprint religiously. Rebecca is now part of ThusFarrell, a multidisciplinary photography and graphic design firm that she founded with her husband. We absolutely love her table settings. Check out more photos after the jump.

Rebecca's work is incredibly inspiring. If you are planning a wedding or a party you will definitely find no shortage of ideas on her website. We also enjoyed the "Favor-Paper-Craft" and "Confections-Food-Cakes" sections (a few samples shown above). They are worth checking out!

Very beautiful. Though it would seem a little cramped if people were actually going to sit down to eat there.

I was thinking the same thing, but I think it could actually work. I've seen more cluttered tables working. I like the simplicity of the bowls with the flowers and floating candles

This is a wee bit nitpicky, but I do mean it to add value: Rebecca's last name has two s's. In case anyone goes looking for her without clicking through the link, that could be important.

I worked with and near her and her sense of style is out of this world.

Rebecca is at the top of my list of people I'd love to have lunch with someday. What a creative lady -- I have followed her work for several years and do a drive by over at her website at least once monthly hoping to spot new work.

In addition to overflowing talent, she is also very nice surprisingly down-to-earth and I say surprisingly because let's face it -- most with this level of talent may do good work but aren't always the nicest/easiest people to work with. Rebecca is a package deal -- talented, humble and charming!
