Name: Stephanie
Location: Alamo
Type: My daughter's bedroom; we own it.
Why I use color:
Many girls outgrow pink and this aqua blue highlighted her sense of youth without being a boy blue. Fun, playful, goes great with any accent color. A perfect fit!
2 good color tips:
1. Try the color on different surfaces. My aqua color look completely different on the wood paneling vs. the finished textured walls.
2. Live with a wall of it for at least three days, and maybe do like I did, use it in a stripe or section around the room and not on all the walls.
2 good color resources:
1. I chose my color from an old road beach sign I bought off eBay.
2. I also use colors from my daughter's favorite clothes and had them matched.
Very cute; love that aqua color paint.

What a wonderful place for a young girl. I love this. Fresh, clean, different blues, orderly yet youthful.
One thing: How old is your daughter? Lucky girl. Good Luck, because this is different than what we've been seeing and I think its an excellent example of what one can do with color, balance, and planning.
Gorgeous! Love the freshness of the white with the aqua accents. And the cereal box pillows...adorable! I like the chairs as well. I'm curious how they attach and how they are strong enough to hold a persons weight.
I Love this room. Wish it was mine!!!
I don't think it is much of a color story, but it is adorable.
Hi this is my room I am absolutely in love with it. If I could live in this room I would. I know alot of my freinds grow out of the color pink but they can never find a girl blue. That is why i think, this blue is perfect. If you dont like my room i would really appreciate it if you could just post a comment on why you dont like my room. Thankyou very much for your votes and comments.

Neato.
The chairs are from IKEA and they hold 200 pounds a piece. They are anchored into the studs in the ceiling. The girls swing in them when they do their homework and it makes the time pass quicker. There is more color in the room but we were only allowed two pictures so if we make the semi's you'll get to see more.
I'd like to see more of the room; I LOVE that aqua paint (you don't remember the name and manufacturer, by chance?). This would have been a good entry in Kid's Month.
I love this room!! It is the best and the color is awesome.
Very talented! No contest here..your selection of color and design makes you #1.
Sami is a very fortunate young girl. Good luck!

Wow! This is the perfect girl's room: it sparks creativity!
Way to go! Insta!
SAMI!! I LOVE it!!!
A very fun room that doesn't assault you with color. However, I didn't vote for it because there were a lot of other rooms with color combinations that I liked better. With only 12 of 240 entries advancing, I need to save room in my voting for my favorites.
Love it.......wow
Really cute room. The colors are great and it is really clean looking. Any young or teen would love it.
