The sleekest bathroom and kitchen fixtures come from Europe, so we were pleasantly surprised to come across two modern lines from a California company called American Faucet and Coatings Corporation.
Under a sub-brand called Sigma Designer Faucetry, they produce the series 1400 and series 1600, both with a bold faucet form as a signature. These designs are not as aggressively minimal as what you see coming out of Europe -- the bases have a little extra detailing that softens the styling a bit and gives them a vaguely Deco look -- but the more generous proportions will also make for more error tolerance with intallation.
