Turquoise is heaven. I have a couple of Hollywood regency-style side tables that I intend to paint turquoise and find little potted plants to rest on top.

You're all reading my mind! I'm obsessed with turquoise right now and am dying to paint my under-the-stairs office nook. If I had any nerve (and money), I'd recover my sofas in turquoise velvet.

The inside of my front door is orange-red and I want to paint the entry seafoam green and stencil gold leaf branches with little birds.

Nice. I recently took my 1943 edition of The Joy of Cooking to the paint shop to get the turquoise cover matched ... will use it to paint some pieces in my kitchen.

enough with the "keep calm" poster hating - it was/is popular for a reason - it's message speaks to everyone. What do any of us care if it's become ubiquitous -- remember, just 'keep calm and carry on'!!

I should say that that image was an inspiration image and not of my home--it's from design sponge. When I was doing the cure a couple years ago I kept a virtual style tray. Sorry for the confusion. :/
