Flickr Finds: An Indoor Garden

10-27-08 wall of flowers.jpgImagine this as a jumping off point. We love that there are endless possibilities for creating an origami art installation on your wall. It's an easy DIY project, where you'll just need some origami paper and maybe a few spare hands to help out...

If you've got a big space of wall real estate, we think this could be a fun and unique way to fill it. Imagine the flowers above all clustered together even closer, like a big field of poppies, customized with any colors you like. Invite some friends over and the project could be done in one evening! Because sometimes a home needs a shot of playfulness, you know?

i have a tree with origami leaves on my wall. it looked healthy and colorful this summer until the tape I used stopped sticking and the leaves slowly fall. now that is it winter/fall, there are a few stragglers but I have most of the leaves collected in a pile on a shelf. I used painters tape.
