Flickr user Hysterical Bertha encountered this setup in a hotel room on a trip a few years ago. What do you think?

Oh my gosh! I did that in my bathroom, continuing the stripes of the shower curtain in a wave around the room. That was in the 70's. Maybe it's best left in the 70's.

Egh, that makes me feel dizzy. Maybe broad stripes, without the wavy thing, in relaxed colors would work...but not this.

An interesting idea, but I wouldn't want to come home to it everyday.

That's the Standard Hotel in downtown L.A. I've stayed in that room. It did make us dizzy. The mural combined with the see-through bathroom wall made for a very interesting stay.

Cool idea and even better it's in a hotel. Designer hotels are all about a trip away from normal.

Maybe in a bathroom or other small space you don't spend tons of time in?? I kind of like the idea, but not so sure about the execution...
