SF Flickr Finds: Barbara's Mix of Modern and Traditional

We just found this photo in our SF Flickr Pool. Barbara writes, My grandmother's milk glass bud vase, spider mum and three of my paintings. We love the way that although the paintings are modern and abstract, and the vase is vintage and traditional, the wallpaper bridges the two styles. It all works together beautifully.

Pretty brilliant, because I'm generally not a fan of that kind of vase and yet it looks very right. I think that the dyed-green spider mum might be the secret weapon here.
