Fun Flower Decor Ideas From Sweet Paul

7209sweetpaul1.jpgOkay, so we know Outdoor Month is over, but there are still many summer weekends to come, and so we couldn't resist sharing some more ideas for garden parties from Sweet Paul, the blog of food stylist Paul Lowe. He uses cut flowers in unconventional ways, providing helpful tips for how to replicate the ideas at home. For this lovely garland, which we spotted on Housemartin, Paul used binder clips to suspend the flowers from lengths of ribbon, wrapping the ends of the stems in some wet cotton to preserve them. Check out a few more flower projects from Paul after the jump...

Paul makes use of a vintage chandelier outdoors, winding vines around its arms. He recommends misting the finished product with water to encourage the flowers to last a few hours. An ephemeral decoration, but gorgeous!

These lovely dahlia spheres are made using balls of floral foam, trimmed to sit flat on a cake stand.

Sweet Paul is just overflowing with gorgeous photos, recipes, and craft ideas. For more of Paul Lowe's work, visit ArtWing.

The first one looks like they were sentenced to hang.

I guess I'm the only one who thought the first pic was very dainty and sweet looking.
