ICFF 2007: Lighting from Ameico, Perch, and Kim

A few of our favorite lights. Yes, lighting is our weakness. In particular, we have a fondness for ambient fixtures that are essentially glowing sculptures or small works of art...and there was no shortage of options at ICFF. These three studios and lines [more pics after the jump] were among the loveliest, as beautiful off as they are on.

Peter Kahane of New Milford's Ameico is importing these delicate porcelain pendants (also pictured at top) from an artist in South Africa. The patterned relief work comes to life when the lamps are on.

Brooklyn's small-scale Perch Design studio has been turning out these delectable light-up ceramics for several years.

Milan-based Taewan Kim was showing a gorgeous flat-pak snowflake floor lamp, humbly perched on an Ikea pedestal.

Lame. The other AT sites all posted better lighting examples than these.
