ICFF 2007: Pablo

We had the chance to meet San Francisco's Pablo Pardo at ICFF. He was very enthusiastic about his newest lamp, the Nuve, which will be available this summer.

The Nuve is a combination of ambient and task lighting. It not only has an adjustable shade and a swiveling base, its polished aluminum surface is almost mirror-like. The high energy efficient LEDs embedded in its surface provide up to 50,000 hours (or 20 years) of life.

Just imagine having a beautiful lamp that can be used on a desk, a sideboard, or on a nightstand -- and not having to buy light bulbs for two decades.
