I normally hatehateHATE garage conversions because they're generally done poorly and tend to make the house look unbalanced (since you can tell it's missing a garage), but this is fantastic. Very well done. I especially like the view from the front.

I am SOO in love with this!!!!

It looks to me as if there's barely any room for a person to sit up, much less stand up, in the lofted sleeping area -- are they expected to simply slither off the mattress and down the stairs? Otherwise it looks lovely.

i once lived in a "converted" garage and, let me tell you, it was nothing like this!

Amazing, but you'd never be able to have a glass of wine and walk up or down those stairs to the loft.

This is looks so smart. It would make such a nice guest house.

Not everyone would be comfortable with this particular loft style....but for most young people....it is perfect. It's such a great job.

Very clean and simple design. I like it

I liked it until I saw the sleeping area. There's not enough room for someone to be able to sit up in bed and being in all rights, if someone needs to go down steps, they need to be able to stand. Plus the stairs don't really look that safe - makes me wonder if this is fully up to code.

The bed area only seems practical if you use your bed exclusively for slowly maneuvering in and out of bed. No reading, no waking up quickly and probably alone.

Otherwise the project is awesome! :D
