Back when our workspace was a cramped corner in a Dilbert-style cube farm, we nurtured our sanity with a few desktop potted plants. They hummed along (just barely) under fluorescent lights, heated by the computer monitor.
Under these conditions if we forgot to water them even a day they wilted immediately. This would have been a great thing to have. We could have stored it in the filing cabinet under "W."

Good to know that I'm not the only person who has watered their plants 8oz. at a time.
(Thanks Wende)
For a mere $18.50, this is an attractive and practical watering option. When I was shopping for perennials at a local garden store, I was surprised to see how much traditional watering cans cost. I decided to stick with my glass tumblers for now, and splurge on pretty flower pots instead.
That is cute!
You should see me out on the balcony, watering my plants with a drinking glass, 8 oz at a time. It works -- it probably satisfies some standard of voluntary simplicity -- but it's very tempting to spend less than $20 on a gadget that would let me water two plants in one trip without having to rearrange the cupboards.
