Glazed Pots at Paxton Gate

4-21-paxton gate.jpgFor all the crazy, slightly morbid, yet fun stuff this store has to offer, we've become most enamored of late with quite possibly the most staid, practical product there. The clay pots they have are a study of simplicity, but sometimes that's just what you want from a functional item.

We say let the flowers (or succulents, or herbs) do the talking, and let the pot play a supporting role. The assortment of colors offers some room for creative embellishment, and the many sizes make mixing and matching more fun. Ask for a hole drilled in the bottom for draining capability.

From $15, available here at Paxton Gate.

I agree that the plants should do the talking.

Thank you so much for that post!

I have been looking high and low for simple pots for my cactus and aloe plants. It's so hard to find simple affordable design sometimes. Everything affordable is always so overly ornate.

Thanks for providing the price. I was curious when I saw them at the store, but they didn't have price tags.
