oooh, how lovely! I wonder if my landlord would mind if I, er, "cultivated" more of the fire escape...

Wow.. I wonder if she can come over and improve on my patio! I love the climbing plants but I'm wary of them taking over if I get too busy.

It looks like a lovely place to sit with a good book and some iced tea. Cozy garden.

Fantastic! All the plants are so healthy and happy! I would love to read a book on this patio.

Hey! You posted my photos. Thanks for all the props. Actually this garden is the result of 2 years of hit and miss. When I moved in the patio looked like a beige prison cell. Really depressing with no views so I created one. I had to experiment with what plants would work with the limited sunlight I get and I killed a few things before it got to this. I'm always changing it around so it looks a little different now. I live across the street from a Longs Drug that has an amazing garden center and almost all my plants are from their markdown section. Every time I think I can't fit any more I manage to squeeze some more on this 11 x 11 deck. I think the final touch will be a fountain of some sort. (Full disclosure: I have a satellite dish in there too so it's not all rainbows and puppies)
