MyCuppa Color Matching Guide Mugs

mycuppa.jpgWe could have used the help this morning. From Suck UK, makers of the fast-becoming ubiquitous Sun Jar, comes the MyCuppa color matching guide mug.

Made in both tea and coffee versions, the inside of the mug’s rim is festooned with gradated color blocks corresponding to the relative milk content.

All you have to do is pour, match, remember your preferred milkiness (the colors have helpful names next to them, such as “milky” or “dark and strong”), and then do it again mindlessly the next day...

It’s Monday, so we have to give anything that provides this kind of mental shortcut an automatic leg up.

Available for £7.50 via Suck UK's online store at the end of this month.

If only they had something like this at the annoying cafe's and coffee houses that INSIST on adding milk and sugar for you!!!

I wish I could point to a pantone strip and say Yo... I want mocha #68 or whatever the corresponding shade would be. This would be easier than... "a little more...a little more....keep go... WHOA! Enough....ah crap...wait let me drink a sip and you can add some more coffee"
