Good Finds: Magnetic Thumbtacks

4.7.9 magtacks 1.jpgWe are always putting bits of inspirational material up on our wall and cork board, but don't always want to put a hole in some of our more treasured prints and photos. These magnetic thumbtacks provide the perfect happy medium, allowing us to post up our favorite finds without puncturing them!

Thanks to Happy Mundane for finding these great hybrids between magnets and thumbtacks. We love tacking things up to the wall, especially since we don't have very much "refrigerator gallery space" on our mini-fridge. This way we can leave our little treasures intact, but put them anywhere a tack will go. The Container Store offers great multi-colored versions from GoodGrips for $3.49 for a package of eight. For a sleek stainless steel version, Crate and Barrel carries the OXO version for $6.95 for a package of eight.

We can already picture some in our kitchen for recipes, over our desk for notes, and all over for our Polaroid snapshots!

Couldn't you just use standard metal thumbtacks with small refrigerator magnets? Then you'd get about 100 for the same price.

Also, OXO & Good Grips are the same thing. Good Grips is just a line of products made by OXO.
