My husband installed ours with the help of our contractor roommate. The cost of having it installed was just far too much for us... We did however, find a very reasonably priced counter top installer who did our Durat install for a mere $700. Good luck in your search! (P.S. We love our new HB kitchen!)

Thanks for the suggestion. Wish I had your roomate! I am so looking forward to the cabinetry. They have been great to work with so far. I really want everything finished just right, so I'm asking everyone the best way to do it. Glad you are happy with HB.

Any luck finding one? I'm just starting out with HB, just trying to get a configuration/quote in place, but wondered about shipping/install too in the Bay area.

I ended up going with Jetton Construction, in Berkeley. Great, great company, high end operation, attention to every detail.
