Dear AT:SF, Please help me select some wall/curtain/rod colors for my small (8x10) bedroom. I want to paint the walls (only Sherwin Williams paint is allowed) and hang long curtains. I prefer lighter colors, and I want the room to look bright and open. I haven't moved in yet, so I can't show you a picture of the room, but it has one large window and an oak colored sill. The main color I want to coordinate with is the bedding...

Powder Blue.

I agree with bepsf.

I have similar bedding and matte oatmeal walls. I collect vintage paint by numbers, so that's where the palette for the whole room comes from:

Would be great with the beige and mahogany.

SW Jersey Cream? I have it and it looks great w/ aqua. makes the room sunny and cozy, without beating you over the head with "YELLOW".

Have you tried out the Sherman Williams color visualizer tool?--it's pretty cool.
I'd go with a very light aqua/grayish green--check out "apple slice" or "sagey."
Love your mirrored furniture--could you tell us who makes it?

Pratt & Lambert December's Eve is a beautiful light blue that is sophisticated and responds beautifully to the change of light throughout the day as well as lamp and candle light.

Thank you for all the suggestions, I will check those colors out! The bedding is Calvin Klein Floral Grid. I got it at Macy's. The mirrored furniture is from JCPenney of all places! I first saw the vanity in Domino and had to track it down.
