Any ideas on Sources for Pamela? Let us know in the comments...thanks!
You would have to have them custom made.
...but like in the "Hot or Not" post of these - What's the point?

They ruin the chair.

Not entirely a repost, to be fair, but I think the obvious answer to the question is that you'll have to have them custom made.

You have to know the chair, understand the underlying joke, then be amused by the idea of almost completely obscuring something transparent. That's asking a lot of a casual viewer. It's all a little too arch for me.

how would you fix them to the chairs?

Transparent glue?

AustinSarah--I get the joke, just don't think it's a particularly clever one or worth ruining the chair over. And what is the deal with Gossip Girl interior design posts. There are far more interesting interiors in movies and other shows to focus on than this terrible show. Why give it two posts (that I'm aware of--hard to miss as they are only a few posts apart)? Have you ever posted on 'House'? Title character's apartment is worth posting over and the hospital is the most aesthetically pleasing hospital ever created.

No imagination ... oh, that is for the posters above.
Who cares if you cover it. Slip cover it. Make pillows for it ... It supposed to change over time. That is what furniture does. Or do you want a showroom?

Yeah. Post on House. What about the Noguchi lamp in his office? I find that and his chair far more interesting, especially when he's in the room..........

The deal with the Gossip Girl posts are there are interesting things happening in terms of set design and look at all the comments next to the topics. As you can see, they generate more comments = more loyal readers. Gossip Girl actually has a great stylist team; fashion and architecture. They get some of their clothing from Bird in Brooklyn. I agree with Randy, its more interesting to have furniture intervention.

which personally, I actually do like the cushion for the space it is in. I always liked the chair, just thought it lacked the softness to balance my space. This is a clever solution and like how the cushion "floats".
view cafeen75's profile
perhaps the cushions were merely a mechanism to reduce the glare for the filming........

I have two with piped seat cushions on them (but not on the back like the picture) and they were custom made. Oh, and I swear they don't ruin the ghost chair. The whole idea of the ghost chair is that it's an irreverent take on a classic chair design. Take a deep breath people.

I never watch that show. Ever. But I like the way those cushions look in that photo and I generally don't like cushions added onto chairs.
